IceWarp Unified Communication Server delivers a highly integrated solution, including Mail Server with dual Anti-Spam & Anti-Virus protection, GroupWare Server, Instant Messaging Server, Text Messaging Server, a unified WebClient interface, full mobile device synchronization and much more. Support for SMTP, POP, IMAP, ActiveSync©, SyncML, CalDAV, WebDAV, and XMPP standards allows IceWarp Server to communicate with all known email clients and servers on the market. By default, all services utilize SSL/TLS encryption, supporting deployments of every kind, from small business single-server installations to multi-server load-balanced platforms that serve tens of thousands of users.

Manage Company-wide Calendars, Address Books and Tasks

Through support of open standards, IceWarp GroupWare Server allows users to schedule & manage events & company resources. Supported standards include Internet Calendars, Free/Busy lookup, & iMIP for Outlook compatible calendar invitations. Users can also manage Address Books, Calendars, Tasks, Files & Journals, syncing data with IceWarp WebClient, Outlook, IceWarp Desktop Client & mobile devices.

Meeting and Resource Scheduling

With any calendaring client that can handle meeting invitations (WebClient, Outlook, Desktop Client, Apple iCal, Thunderbird), users can also manage conference rooms and shared resources like cars or office equipment. They add the pre-defined resource as an attendee to a new event, suggesting the time according to displayed availability. Subject to approval from preset resource manager, the user is sent an accepted/declined notification and the event is marked in their calendar.

Mobile Synchronization

IceWarp GroupWare Server supports out-of-the-box synchronization of Email, Calendar, & Contacts data over-the-air via ActiveSync with IceWarp SmartSync Technology or via the open-standard SyncML protocol. This provides native support for almost every mobile device on the market. IceWarp GroupWare Server is also the ONLY solution on the market providing over-the-air synchronization of Tasks, even to phones that do not support this natively, through a Tasks as Events synchronization feature.

Push Calendars, Contacts, Email and More

IceWarp provides over-the-air synchronization of Email, Calendars, Contacts, Notes, Tasks and Files. Synchronization is achieved through SyncML & ActiveSync with IceWarp SmartSync which provides a more fluid mobile experience. Information is delivered to most mobile devices in real-time via push technology, requiring no action from end users.

Compatible Devices

IceWarp mobility requires no software installation. It delivers out-of-the-box support for most mobile devices on the market including Windows Mobile, Nokia, Motorola, LG, Samsung, iOS (iPhone, iPad) and Android-powered devices since Android 2.0. Most devices can use a choice of several client apps (purchased separately).

Multi-Platform Design

IceWarp GroupWare Server includes a unique implementation of CalDAV Server, designed to support a broadest set of available desktop & mobile applications. This is achieved through an innovative combination of the WebDAV, GroupDAV, CardDAV & CalDAV protocols. Black Lists, White Lists & Spam Folders

Users can take control of their inbox. All messages identified as spam are automatically stored in the users Spam folder, accessible through IceWarp WebClient, IceWarp DeskClient, Outlook® & other IMAP-compatible clients. Users also have the option to manage these lists via IceWarp's automated Spam Reports. From the Spam folder or the Spam report email users can take action on messages, including adding the sender to their black or white list.

Server-Side Filters and Rules

Powerful server-side filters and rules can be applied to all users, specific users, groups or domains on the server. Server-side rules can enforce business processes, move messages from folder to folder, make copies, run applications, extract attachments to folders, add and modify headers and footers, and more.

Enterprise Anti-Virus Protection

Antivirus protection is based on the high-performance Kaspersky® AV engine, & provides powerful multi-threaded processing, capable of scanning over 4,000 messages per second. Be it email, GroupWare attachments, FTP, IM SOCKS Proxy or IMAP APPEND, every file going in or out of the server is scanned and validated.

E-mail Archiving

Automatic IMAP integration makes certain that you remain compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SARBOX) by archiving all incoming & outgoing email messages in isolated non-production storage. Messages are saved as files in a tree folder structure, making restoration a simple matter of dragging the appropriate files back to each user's IMAP folder. Users can access the archive via any email client, but cannot change stored data.

SmartAttach ^TM Attachments

IceWarp SmartAttach ^TM is new technology that comes with a number of benefits. Attachments are not actually affixed to the email itself; rather, they are made accessible via unique and secure hyperlinks that are embedded in the email. Senders of SmartAttachments are able to delete email attachments even after they've sent the message - giving your company far greater security. Plus, SmartAttach is very resource-aware because it gives recipients the freedom to access attachments at a time of their choosing.

Simplified Server Management

Both the Windows and Linux versions of IceWarp Server can be securely managed via a Windows-based administration console, the web-based administration interface, the command line interface, and IceWarp's Remote Administration Console for Windows.

Integration with Active Directory / LDAP

The Directory Service option lets IceWarp Server regularly synchronize with an Active Directory Service. Any changes to users within the AD server will be automatically reflected in IceWarp Server.

Public Folders

Through public folders, IceWarp GroupWare Server data can be shared across the entire organization, among groups, & between individuals. Shared address books can be set as a Global Address List (GAL) providing a company contact directory that is centralized & automatically populated. Each user can manage their individual contact information, which simplifies management, promotes efficiency & keeps contact information up-to-date. Shared Calendars can also be set easily for companywide, departmental, or group Calendars to allow the members to easily keep track of events & important meetings.

User-to-User Sharing

Through flexible permissions, users have the ability to share Email, Address Books, Calendars, Files, Tasks, Journals & Notes, with other IceWarp GroupWare Server users. Highly granular control includes Read, Write, Modify, & Delete permissions that can be set. Users are alerted through email notifications that they have been granted access rights to a folder by one of their colleagues.

Simple File Storage & Sharing

Using IceWarp GroupWare Server, users can save & access important files as if they were accessing them on a local drive or network share. Access is enabled through IceWarp WebClient, Microsoft Outlook or through a network drive via the Windows desktop. Files folders & contents can be shared out to users or groups allowing for easy & seamless collaboration across your organization.

IceWarp's implementation of Exchange ActiveSync© is officially licensed for the 2.5, 12.0, 12.1, 12.5 and 14.0 protocol specification. IceWarp adds its unique extensions: SmartSync (improves performance in edge-of-the-connection locations), SmartDiscover, GroupWare as Email (translation of Tasks, Notes, Files into emails), and many others (full folder tree, virtual folders, substitute default folders, localized folders), while retaining 100% compatibility with client device vendors.
